I wanted to give a gift of Thank You to a friend. This person who, recently purchased a home in Cincinnati. It would be a Gift from all of us that recently visited her humbled House. I figured, since I am not from the Natti (sorry) that it, would be great to buy her a $50 gift card to Applebee's. I mean, who know's what restaurants they have in the Natti?
WELL it turns out no one thought this gift was a good one. I mean, am I the only one to step up and get something for Her in a good will gesture? Why is it that I get Slammed for showing the initiative in the situation?
(ed. note - With "Slammed", Viper is referring to the following comments: "Applebee's? Are you f'king serious?", "Were they out of gift cards to the Sizzler?", "You might as well got her a gift certificate to the car wash, at least that way she would use it", "A gift card to Applebee's is as good as a smack in the face", "Sarah hates jalapeno poppers", "Why not get her an Edible Arrangement?", "You couldn't possibly represent our taste more poorly than by sending an Applebee's gift card", and "This is a TERRIBLE gift."
